Our new apartment

 Colhern Road Aparment

Here are some pictures of our new apartment. I picked up the keys yesterday. We're starting to move some of our things. DHL picked up our boxes from home yesterday, so hopefully we'll have them next week before we have to be out of our current apartment. I would really like for everything to be in there by Thursday next week, because we're going to Paris over Easter weekend! Michael is off that Friday and Monday, so we thought it would be a nice time to take a holiday. I'll make sure to take lots of pictures to share with you!

The apartment looks beautiful. I am glad to see that the couch looks comfy too! Do you have to purchase a mattress? If you do, make sure to read Lisey's Story by Stephen King, before shipping it home!

Your apartment looks really nice! I’m sure it will be nice to have your own place (sort of). I can’t wait to see the pictures from Paris. You are having so many new experiences. I am so proud of you both. I am still praying that I can handle the flight and that my health will allow me/us to travel. We applied for our passport on Friday. The post office said that it could take 10 weeks to receive it. Can you believe that! If possible we are going to try to fly to London to see you guys in July. Hopefully that will give us enough time to get out passport.

Love you!

For those of you who haven't heard, I can no longer walk. I pulled something in my calf muscle and so I've been hobbling around London (ok, only the old apartment so far). So, yeah, the three flights of stairs in the new apartment are going to be interesting.

But, I love the new place, and hopefully we'll be moving in soon :)

I am so glad you got the apartment. It looks beautiful, but very bright. It will make it hard to sleep in. I have enjoyed reading everything you write. I hope you are keeping a copy of everything. It would make a great book. I am sorry about Michael's injury and the change of date to Paris. However, it will give you more time to get things settled in your new apartment, and longer to research Paris. (Also for Michael to improve. How are you by the way?) I hope you get your e-mail up soon.
Love you guys,
Aunt Janet
